Books on The Unexplained

We thought it would make good sense to include a selection of books on The Unexplained for those of you looking into further reading.

We cover a wide variety of topics on the unexplained here but there is only so much we can cram in on a daily basis. Whilst we link to as many publications as possible there are a few great recommendations we have had to overlook…

How To Uncover Your Past Lives – By Ted Andrews

How To Uncover Your Past LivesThe first of our recommended books on The Unexplained covers the topic of past lives – a subject that used to fascinate me as a school kid.

It is written by award-winning author Ted Andrews and it is quite an astonishing read. Ted was a deeply respected teacher in the metaphysical fields and possessed many spiritual gifts.

The publication looks at the subject of déjà vu and recurring dreams in an effort to provide clues to past lives. I was a little skeptical and dubious of the book when I first came across it but it COMPLETELY won me over by the time I had finished.

  1. I was extremely interested in what you shared here about these books. This part of life isn’t touched on very often in my daily life anymore. Although an old friend of mine turned me on to crystals and meditation, deep breathing techniques, and opening myself up to greater life experiences. While I believe that everyone is entitled to live life just exactly how they prefer to live it, I also believe in a higher power. I am not sure whether that higher power is already within me or already a big part of me or if this higher power is another entity entirely. I was taught as a youngster that God (obviously a higher power to many) was supposed to be my higher power and that I was supposed to do everything that He has taught within His book; the bible. To believe in this God, one must have a great deal of trust in mankind because it was actually many men who wrote the bible and I fear that it could have been instrumental in making up a huge number of people and stories. There are many good living and life examples to live by within the bible I suppose but that book is interpreted in so many different ways and languages that mean many different things to different races of people. If we as men wrote the bible; these men must have had some inherent abilities to differentiate between right and wrong, unless of course, there was an inciteful being that existed in each and every one of the authors. Beings that had already lived and learned powerful life lessons and they brought these lessons with them through different portals of previous lives.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your reading experiences and beliefs because today it has reopened a window for me that has been closed for quite some time. I think that it will be useful to help me to shake off some of the dust and grow some new inside thoughts and assistance in my life today.
    Great site! Thanks again.

    1. Hi there Rene,
This is a great message/comment that has made our day – we love hearing from like-minded individuals that appreciate our efforts. As you can imagine, the type of niche subjects we cover here leaves us open to all sorts of abuse ( I have to trash numerous comments every week! ) so it’s great to hear from people who actually ‘see’ what we are trying to do!
Look forward to speaking to you again soon 🙂

  2. These sound like some very interesting books. I’m specifically interested in the one on uncovering your past lives and the Sirius mystery. I have not heard of the Sirius mystery before and would be interested in reading about it. I’ve always been intrigued by different unexplained mysteries and I will continue to check out your site for more information.

  3. Man I keep looking up good stories and keep finding your site…. thanks! and shit these books again seems way over my head but so up my alley at the same time. Im already trying to peice my dreams together as we speak (as i can recall them a lot eaiser than others) trying to figure out my past life! kinda funny now cuz i might be heading to that review, which mean most likely getting the book.

The other ones didnt interest me as much because ive read a lot like em like Hill and Proctor. Thanks for the article!

    1. Hello again Matt!
Nice to hear that the books we showcase here are ‘right up your street’ 🙂
Enjoy looking into your past life!

  4. Oh, Goodness! This would have to be one of my favourite topics to read and explore. Now you have introduced me to new books to add to my Christmas wish list! I love your site, it is getting a bookmark and going into favourites. What is your favourite ‘so far out there but fascinating’ book?

  5. Hi Chris,

What an Interesting topics for You´ve been writing here.
As many people have wrote it here, when I was a teenager I was interested in reading such similar books.
Anyway, having a two questions for you:
    1. What is your favourite one?
    2. How long have been written one page as this by You?

Thank and Have a Nice Day,

    Littledreamer

    1. Hi, If you look at the last comment reply I left you’ll see my favorite choice of unexplained book ( along with a link to it! ) I’m afraid I don’t quite understand your second question you left?

  6. Very interesting book recommendations. I like this sort of stuff and am always interested in learning more. I tend to gravitate to documentaries about these types of subjects so I would think a book on them would have much more detail which could make them more exciting and add an extra layer of depth.

    1. Hi Devin,

I also love documentaries on subjects of the unexplained but as you point out – books go a lot deeper into topics ( and you can go through them at your own pace! ). Thanks for stopping by and leaving your opinion!

  7. These are books that make you reason beyond the present times. I don’t know if I would enjoy looking for ghosts but its so cool to know there are people out there who like to go beyond the present realm and fish out things. Very good write ups on these spooky books. Lol now you got me thinking.

  8. Hi Chris,

This is a great list of books. When I was in high school, a friend of mine and I were obsessed with the idea of our past lives. We even tried meditation exercises to try and reveal what we were in a past life. So I can so relate to the kid who is trying to figure out of there really is a past life.

Then another friend of mine and I wanted to go ghost hunting too. She even found a kit online that we could buy. We even staked out a couple of places around the town we lived in as places to give a try. We never did go through with it, but maybe I get her to read this book and the ghost hunt would be back on.

  9. Wow! Don’t really know where to start! There is actually so much stuff out there that can’t be explained and I can’t believe this stuff isn’t more mainstream. I’m most interested in the thought of extraterrestrial life – it’s such a scientific probability that there is other life out there but if we have made contact I don’t understand why it would need to be kept secret. Thoughts?

    1. LOL I seriously wouldn’t know where to start there Dave!!!! Just have a skim through the site and you’ll pick up on my angels 🙂
