Ursula and Sabina Eriksson – The Possessed Twins

Ursula and Sabina Eriksson - The Possessed Twins

Swedish twins Ursula and Sabina Eriksson led normal, run-of-the-mill lives and seemed happy and content with their lot. What caused them to go inexplicably insane at the exact same time?

The Twins

Both Ursula and Sabina Eriksson had a completely clean bill of health and had never exhibited mental problems of any kind. They were living normal, happy lives with their respective families.

Ursula decided to pay a visit to her twin sister in Ireland and booked a plane ticket so that she could fly from her US home. The flight went well and she arrived safely in Ireland to meet with her sister.

Unfortunately things started to go very wrong…

Insanity

Whilst in Ireland Ursula and Sabina Eriksson decided to jump on a bus and travel over to London. Nobody is sure why they did this and they didn’t inform family members they were planning the trip.

About an hour into this bus trip the driver and his passengers began to realize that something was VERY wrong.

The twins were behaving like two drunk football supporters and could not be approached by anyone on the bus. After a while the bus driver feared for the safety of his passengers and kicked them off the vehicle.

Once on the hard shoulder of the motorway the twins decided to walk the rest of the journey – through the middle of the busy motorway!

As luck would have it the BBC were filming a police documentary on this stretch of the motorway. The video below is the shocking real footage they managed to capture that day:

Shocking Actions

As you can see in the video both Ursula and Sabina Eriksson seemed calm and composed when they were detained by the police. They almost seem as if they knew they had done wrong and were waiting for the next step.

Out of nothing Ursula decides to make a break into the middle of the motorway and ends up running into the wheels of a large truck.

The madness continued as her sister then decided to run into the middle of the road and ended up being struck by a passing car. After the car had hit her she then managed to pounce upon the arresting officers and claw at them violently. Her sister Ursula also tried to get at the police but her smashed up legs thankfully stopped her.

The Next Day…

Both girls were obviously taken away by the police for further action but somehow Sabina had returned to the ‘good side’. She did not exhibit any of the madness that had infected her earlier in the day.

The police were so convinced with her recovery they decided to release her the next day…BIG mistake!

Once she was released it only took her a few hours to find a kind man and kill him! Apparently he had offered the troubled girl a safe place to stay. She then proceeded to throw herself off a 40 foot bridge in an apparent suicide attempt.

Unbelievably, she actually managed to survive the fall and ended up receiving a rather weak 5 year prison sentence. Her lawyers had no problem in convincing the judge that she was completely ‘off the planet’ when these incidents occurred so she received a reduced sentence.

Ursula and Sabina Eriksson

So Sabina had been proven insane by the courts but how did this effect Ursula – they both seemed totally insane that day. They were tested after the incident but reports listed that there were no forms of drug or alcohol inside their bodies.

According to psychologists, one of the twins suffered from a form of temporary insanity. This temporary insanity managed to travel through the ‘bond’ the twins held and ended up inside the other sister.

That sounds fine…but not everyone agreed with this diagnosis! I have seen this incident covered many times online and the conspiracy theories thrive around it. The most popular theory is that the twins were possessed by some sort of evil spirit. It is thought that this demon may have been able to take control of both girls due to the unique bond that exists between twins.

Both girls were eventually declared SANE….a little worrying really isn’t it?
