  1. Do you think that certain people just are able to be better at psychic abilities because of their genetics, how their brain is wired? I believe we all have gifts and abilities. I believe we also have the ability to learn and develop abilities through time and effort. But it just comes easier and more naturally to others. Would this book be more for someone that has a greater ability and liking towards psychic abilities? Or would someone who may not be very good at it at all still benenfit?

    1. Well Sarah I also like to think we all have some sort of ability but it’s common knowledge that some are more ‘tuned in’ than others. It could well be down to genetics etc.
At the end of the day though – we can ALL learn.
I believe this book is an excellent starting point for anyone who has an interest in the subject.

  2. This is very interesting. I’ve looked into this subject many times before and have heard much about it, so this seems like it’ll be a good read for me to get myself delved more into it.

Metaphysics has always interested me and I would love to learn much more about it. Great article.

  3. Wow I love all this kind of stuff, I feel as tho I am very aware of certain things in my life but I guess I sometimes doubt my awareness too. This book sounds great, I have been brought up with a mother who used to play the weegie board, and over the years have had my fair share of readings too, although with this book I am positive that it could help me develop more of my own psychic abilites, thanks heaps Chris much appreciated 🙂

    1. You’re very welcome blubutterfly – let’s hope it helps you ‘hone in’ on your personal abilities 🙂

  4. Hi Chris,

I am glad I found this article because sometimes I feel that my instincts are not working as I would like to!
Yes, most of the time I took the wrong decision just because I did not follow my instinct. This book looks really interesting and helpful. I am going to show it to my husband as well. Is it a free shipping?

    Thank you

    1. Hi Daniella,
When we posted this review I do believe that it was free shipping – I don’t think anything has changed between then and now. Hope you enjoy the book 🙂

  5. This is really very interesting topic. I neither can totally agree or disagree with exsistance of psychic ability. But most of people who claims that they have psychic abilities are liers. Hope this is a genuin product. By the what do ‘Clairvoyance’ & ‘Psychometry’ mean? (my english is not very good. :))

  6. Hi and thank you for the straightforward and succinct review. I do believe that we all come equipped with some form of intuition and that some people’s are better than others. Nice read. Didi

  7. A book to develop your psychic potential. That sound very interesting.

My dad was psychic although he didn’t talk about it much. He could do things that the present day remote viewers could only dream about.

He was a farmer and when out in the field if he forgot his watch he would just walk in the kitchen and look at the clock on the wall, without leaving the field.

When playing cards he would stand behind the other players and see their hand, without leaving his chair.

When he had employees working in the fields he would go and check up on them, without ever getting off the couch.

These abilities scared him though, so he didn’t use them much and almost never talked about them

As for me I’m a total psychic dud. There have been a few times where I could guess who was calling on the phone, but that’s about it.

Maybe I should get this book. 🙂

    1. Hey Gary!
Your dad sounds like he was a very talented guy – superb psychic ability!
There’s no such thing as a psychic dud – it’s deep inside all of us so don’t give up 🙂

  8. Hmm… This is really an interesting book about developing your own psychic ability. I never knew that we can actually learn and develop psychic ability ourselves. I thought one need to be born to be given special “sixth sense”. You have covered this book well and hopefully more related imformaton. How long do you reckon before a person can start to be somewhat good in psychic?

    1. Well Dominic, like most things in life, I think it’s down to the individual who’s learning the ropes – we all develop at different stages! The important factor is not to give up 🙂
      Good luck!

  9. I like that there are so many techniques offered with this book. I do believe that people are born with intuition, some more than others. And I even believe that some people have a gift– like when the police bring in psychics to help them break cases– I mean, why would they do that, risk being scoffed at, if it didn’t help them? Though I’m a dyed-in-the-wool cynic, I found myself wanting to learn these techniques! That, alone, is a sign that this is a powerful review!

    1. Thanks Diana, I’m glad the review was able to grab you in the way it did – if you purchase the book, don’t forget to come back here and leave your own views on it 🙂

  10. Hi Chris,

This is another very interesting article! I really do enjoy your site, and you always give the reader something to think about.

I found this post very interesting specifically because I believe that there are many powers in the world that all people can experience if they can just learn how to recognize a power in action. By learning more about psychic abilities, the general public would be able to be more open minded to notice things when they happen naturally and work to channel those powers.

    Good information!

    1. Hello again Allen, you’re becoming a bit of a site regular now aren’t you 🙂
Seriously though, great to have you back here and thanks for your continued support!

  11. Wow sounds like a interesting book. It’s amazing to know that one can developed psyhic abilities on their own. I think I will go for this book. Good thing it has over 44 techniques and 28 case studies of psychic development, which is enough proof it actually works. There are so many aspects of my life that I think I will be able to resolve if I go for this book. Thanks for this post

  12. Hey Chris,

Psychic Development for beginners… Didn’t know these sort of books existed!

I have a lot of questions regarding this book.. What kind of exercises are in this book? Are these exercises that have a potential answer in the book, so you can see if it had effect? Or is it more general exercises like breathing, way of thinking??

You say it would be perfect for beginners that don’t feel that they have a lot of intuition… Well happened to be I’m one of those people who thinks that!

In what way could this book benefit me you think?

Thanks for the review and interesting website!

    1. Hi there Maarten,
Well the results ( or potential answers as you put it ) will be down to the individual using the book. The more you put into learning the techniques the more ‘honed in’ your powers will become. There are many different forms of training within it’s pages – click on the link and check it out ( you are allowed to scan through the book’s pages on Amazon )
Hope it provides you with the knowledge you were looking for 🙂

  13. Hello Chris,
Well, you probably already know what I am going to say 🙂 But for other readers, I’ll carry on…
I think that it is interesting that this book has been out for so many years now. I also think that the practical, hands on (so to speak) approach is probably much more valuable to a beginner than a lot of theory. I like the approach of “teach me how, I’ll learn the why later”. Your site is full of very interesting geeky stuff!! Keep up the great work and best of luck in all your endeavors.

    1. Hey there Rick – thanks for stopping by and leaving your opinion 🙂
Glad you like all the ‘geeky’ topics we are covering here!

  14. Sweet post here man!

It’s like the spirit box thing. Once you open yourself up to these types of things, it’s hard to turn back.. I had been curious about ghosts, because I’ve never had a run-in with one.. but apparently there’s this thing called a spirit box, that basically invites them into your home.

The disclaimer is obvious.. if you aren’t comfortable with the spirit world, don’t use one.. because it is likely that the ghosts will not leave.. LOL. I think I’ll pass on buying one 😛

Anywho, great stuff .. I am about to read your conspiracy stuff in a min.

    1. Hey Stu, we actually review the Spirit Box here on this site LOL. I have used it on a number of occasions and it can be a freaky tool 🙂

  15. I do think that we all have some psychic abilities. I know a lot of people don’t believe in that, but I do. I will have to see what this book has to offer. I think it is very interesting to read about developing this. I wonder if people are born with this, or can develop it with practice. What do you think? Thanks.

    1. Personally, I believe we all have these abilities but need a little help to tap into them Liz – that’s where this training comes into play 🙂

  16. I never knew there is such book available to train on psychic development. Sounds interesting. When I was younger, I always wanted an Omega watch but do not have money to buy. Every time I passed by Omega boutique, I will stare at my dream watch with much emotion. Then one day, I got it. The amazing part was, I got it when someone lost a bet to another person. In fact it has nothing to do with me… but I got it! I think this is the power of psychic? Thanks for sharing. Guess, I will explore this book soon.

    1. Well Florence, I wouldn’t really suggest this is psychic power but it certainly seemed like it was a powerful force – after all, you got the watch in the end didn’t you? 🙂

  17. Hi Chris – Found your post really interesting. What I didn’t realize was we all have psychic abilities, I thought this was for “gifted” people.
How would you define psychic though?
I try not to believe that spirits exist – however past experiences contradicts that belief of mine.
Is there a between the spirit word and psychic ability?
    Good subject

    1. If you have to ‘try not to believe that spirits exist’, then surely they do exist in your mind Mark? 🙂
I define a psychic as someone who has managed to tap into certain abilities – we all have them, only some of us manage to find them though!

      1. Hi Chris – That is a good argument. If you read a book called hauntings Resolved by Penny Barber – she refers to a house in Oldham that had several visitors. This is my house.
Trying not to believe or just not accepting them are really the same thing. If I believe they are there that open a very tightly lock door in my mind

  18. So… do you think that a book like this is really just increasing a person’s ability to watch for ticks and physical cues and to be more aware of the world around them? Or do you really think that a person could learn to by psychic from a book? I’d really like to know more about where you stand on the validity of psychic powers and the number of fakes and charlatans at things like fairs and carnivals.

    1. Yes Maura, I have said many times before that I believe we all have psychic powers but not all of us are willing to tap into them. Books and guides simply help you to find these powers 🙂

  19. Interesting. Everyone has undeveloped psychic abilities, but as we rely more on external tools to do the sensing and communication jobs, the underutilized capacity weakens. That is a pity.

But I think such ability has to be regained naturally by less using our brains to figure out and judge the world but allow our entire body to do the job.

  20. I have always been fascinated by psychic abilities. To be honest, I’m not totally sure if it’s possible, or if it’s real, but there seems to be enough evidence around to suggest it is. I would be interested in reading this book to see if I can tap into my psychic powers. I think it might come in pretty handy…

  21. Interesting Book! I have been on your site before and I must say that I enjoy it. I do believe that everyone has some sort of physic ability, so why not use it. From your review it looks like it would be great for not only beginners, but for anyone who would like to have easy reference. I will have to check it out!

  22. Hey, Chris

I always thought that only the special gifted people among us had psychic abilities, but it appears that this is not the case, after learning about this psychic development for beginners book!

This book is certainly a cheap investment for the 44 techniques that are shared with the reader 🙂

I guess this book is more for the open minded people, and I’m certainly one of them!

Great review, and I’m gonna invest in this…

    1. That’s great news Neil – don’t forget to come back here after you’ve read it and give us your own personal opinion on it’s contents 🙂

  23. Hi Chris- I enjoyed reading your review of Psychic Development for Beginners. I believe/ know we all have the ability albeit to varying degrees. I would liken it to a muscle, in order to achieve it’s full potential it must be exercised. This looks like it would be a great read for beginners. Well presented.

  24. Hello Chris. You have a tempting to read book here. How often do we feel that something is wrong but we can not explain from where this feeling came from. Everybody of us are unique and special, but we forget it. Day routine and plans keep us busy. I think that paying attention to our inner abilities, can help us to move forward to higher lever.
It means, that we could know themselves better and utilize our powers in best way as possible.
As I see, your book shows this way through exercises and descriptions, explanations how to perform these techniques.
Thanks for opportunity to peak what this book is about. I consider to get this book for myself.
All the best, happy writing, Nemira.

  25. Helloooo Chris,

At last, something that is both weird and interesting! I could spend a lot of time on this site and contribute a lot of very interesting and controversial comments, but I won’t. It’s 2am, an auspicious time or not, as you will.

The subtitle of your site got me chucking. I suppose I am out there if you count the antipodes of planet Earth,

I like your site. The subject matter is highly interesting, and there’s no shortage of it, well presented. I think you’ve done a great job to do a seriously interesting presentation. I’m sure this will bring a lot of interest your way.

Did you ever see a movie called “Slaughterhouse 5”? Trauthanador, destiny, other beings and all that. Great stuff, but I do realise it’s not all fantasy.

Back to the twilight zone for me. Dah de dah dah, dah de dah dah, dah de dah dah……..

    1. Hi there Dave! Love your rendition of the Twilight Zone at the end there 🙂
I did come across Slaughterhouse 5 many moons ago but I forget what the overall subject matter was about now ( I must be getting old! ).

  26. Hi!
This book sounds really interesting and I am thinking it is a must to check out.
The price is right and I myself like the idea it is based on his own experiences, what better way to explain it!
I love your site and have bookmarked it. I really am looking forward to checking it out a bit deeper.
Can I ask what got you to build this kind of website?

  27. Hello there!
This was a really nice review. I love anything that has to do with mysteries and metaphysics so this is a must-read!
Telepathy was something that always appealed to me and I want to learn more so I am certainly getting this book.
The price is veery friendly too!
    Thank you for sharing!

  28. Hello Chris , I want to become a magician and move mountains with my mind , is that possible?…Just joking.

Is this book going to transform me into a better individual?…Then I am up for it.

Has anything to do with meditation?

I prefer books written in that practical way , and not depending in theory.Reading about someone’s real experiences makes me more comfortable.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

    1. No problem Tasos,
I don’t think it actually covers the moving of mountains though! 🙂
There is a degree of meditation-like techniques involved with this kind of thing – it may be right up your street! 🙂

  29. Wow i never knew that courses such as these even existed. As somebody who has delved into the psychic world, i also definitely believes that everyone can have psychic abilities but some are more tuned in than others. Your review is also layed out very well but I did have some problems scrolling down to see the below information such as who the book is for. Well done and I will definitely check out the book

    1. You had problems scrolling down the screen? Look to the right side of your screen – the scroll bar is always there ( on every website LOL ).

  30. This is a great article Chris. It definitely has struck my curiosity. I can’t say that I have ever met anyone with psychic abilities. Well I do know one person but I think hers was more for attention. I could be wrong though.

I didn’t realize though that someone with no physic ability could actually study to become one. Just knowing that makes me want to purchase the book. Thanks for sharing.

  31. ‘Psychic Development Simplified – Develop Psychic Ability’ sounds really interesting. I’m always really interested in psychic abilities unfortunately possessing none myself! I love the idea of possibly developing some kind of psychic ability for myself though as it is a very intriguing subject. I genuinely believe there are some people out there who have this gift and on the flip side there are fraudsters too. Glad I’ve seen your review.

  32. Hi Chris,

It is true that some people are naturally tuned in to these type of things than others, but I tend to believe that if enough research and hard work is put into exercises designed to develop these abilities, which will probably be found in books like this one, then we can all develop ourselves.

A good review, the book seems to have plenty of techniques and I would imagine the case studies help in understanding those techniques.

  33. This is something I think is very interesting. A lot of people I am sure would love to try and tap in the psychic world. I know I would. Plus 11 bucks for the book is not bad. I see that you listed some cons but I can actually work around those they are actually not that bad. The pros definitely out weight the bad with this book. Something I might considered buying soon. I love a good interesting read which can actually be applied in real life.

    1. Great stuff Brandon – if you manage to get hold of it please feel welcome to pop back here and leave your own personal views on it’s content! 🙂

  34. I do know that much of the Occult arts are with the pineal gland, I used to be into Occultic studies, dabbled with it (dumb decision on my part) and just stopped somewhere along the way. Unfortunately, I just didn’t have the “patience” to see results (something I need to work on). You should check SpellsandMagic by Puzuzu, it’d be your type – that’s where I began.

  35. I definitely like this website a lot. This may come as a bit of a shock to you personally, but I myself am a clairvoyant. So I might seriously consider using this product in the book. I’ve always loved the supernatural. For more ideas about content, be sure to include more cryptids like nessie, psychic abilities like empathy, and some references to meditations.

  36. What an interesting topic. I know that I am a very intuitive person and I make most decisions based on my “gut instincts”. But I never connected that with psychic abilities. Maybe I have them? You’ve certainly peaked my interest.

I wonder if such a course can develop instinctive strengths into a viable psychic ability. Have yu taken te course yourself?

  37. This review has made me want to read the book now. I like weird and quirky and this seems right up my alley. It’s almost like a different way of going about the law of attraction. I know what I want for my life. I have dreams that I want to see fulfilled. So if I get this book and read it and do the exercises, who knows, maybe my wildest dreams will come true. It wouldn’t hurt to try. It would just take a leap of faith on my part that this book and it’s teachings and exercises will work for me. I guess I’m willing to take the leap and see what happens.

  38. How interesting! I’ve never really looked at psychic ability with any real interest until now. I’m glad I stumbled upon this post, as my mother was very interested in psychic ability throughout my childhood. It fascinated me, but I was too young to really understand it. Do you believe significant psychic ability might run in the genes/bloodlines, or is it purely a matter of honing your senses/skills?

Thanks in advance, I’ll definitely check this book out!

    1. I believe that bloodlines could definitely lead to psychic abilities being passed on through generations Cohen! 🙂

  39. I had a look at your site it is very interesting
    its sounds a great
I had read each and every line of your site and i never came across such a idea. i appreciate your thinking..

on reading this site i develop a positive mind that i could help me to develop more of my psychic abilities.

keep doing such kind of site

  40. Fascinating subject – it is something that has always interested me. I watch shows on TV and I think, wow what a gift, I wish I could do that!

Having said that, I think it’s possible that we may have abilities in this area that we aren’t aware of and can learn to develop. I would definitely be open to exploring it.

    Great review – thank you!

    1. No [problem Anna, thanks a lot for stopping by and reading our article – always great to have people here that share our interests! 🙂
