I read the updated version of the Robert Temple Sirius Mystery a few weeks ago and decided to write a review about my experiences with it. In this book review, I will discuss the subject, the good points, some minor drawbacks with it, and where to get the best deal when you buy it online. By the end of this review, you should have a good idea as to whether the Robert Temple Sirius Mystery is the book for you.
The Sirius Mystery – Product Overview
This is an updated version of Robert Temple’s fascinating 1977 book The Sirius Mystery. This updated version contains 140 new pages of new scientific evidence that the KGB, CIA, and NASA attempted to suppress.
The book covers the Dogon Sirius mystery that has dogged scientists since the 1930’s when two French anthropologists revealed their findings on the tribe. They claimed that the Dogon preserve a tradition of contact with intelligent Sirius Star system aliens.
Temple’s book explains that these aliens arrived on Earth with a view to teaching the human race the art of civilization. That they were responsible for systems of the Pharaohs of Egypt, the mythology of the Greek civilization, and the Epic of Gilgamesh.
This updated version of the Robert Temple Sirius Mystery sold over 10,000 copies within the first two months of it’s release in the UK.
The Good & The Bad
- Offers unique research into the ancient mythologies of numerous civilizations and cultures
- A well documented scholar investigation supporting alien contact thousands of years ago
- Includes a mass of foot notes, references and quoted scholars
- Provides strong evidence
- Updated with 140 pages
- Covers the Egyptian, Sumerian, and Dogon civilization’s link to extraterrestrial intelligence
- Temple explains how he was persecuted by the CIA, the Soviet KGB and NASA.
- In certain chapters the book belabors the point a bit
- Some of Greek, Egyptian, Minoan, and Babylonian history/archaeology can become ‘dry reading’ at times
Who is The Sirius Mystery For?
If you are looking for light UFO reading then this is NOT the book for you. Robert Temple’s views on the Dogon Sirius mystery are a work of scholarship as opposed to a Spielberg movie.
If you have any sort of interest in the Ancient Astronaut theory then this book is a must-read for you. This new version is a must for both the seasoned and ingenue to the Dogon tribe Sirius mystery.
My Final Take on The Robert Temple Sirius Mystery
The Egyptian, Sumerian, and Dogon connection to the Sirius star system aliens is a fascinating subject. Robert Temple has left no stone unturned when it comes to covering the Dogon Sirius mystery
I found it to be a very deep and scientific read but at the same time extremely difficult to put down. At times I did find I had to re-read certain chapters due to ‘information overload’ but I got there in the end.
The book is a definitive eye-opener on the subject of Ancient Astronauts and constantly makes you pause and think about the arguments the author puts forward.
In all it is a very refreshing and extremely stimulating publication.
